Why didn't the media report about a European Journal titled "Barack Hussein Obama and the Triumph of Marxism"?
Direct Quote from a European Journal that you will never read in American media: "...it's insane that the United States can even contemplate electing a person such as Obama. Americans will look like a defeated nation to the rest of the world if they pick an individual who has for a generation been a member of an organization dedicated to hating the majority population of the country. That's exactly why so many of their enemies want him elected. Meanwhile, 7 years after Saudi Arabian Muslims staged Jihadist attacks against the United States, the Saudis are systematically infiltrating the Western education system at all levels with pro-Islamic propaganda. Americans are outsourcing their industry to China, their education system to Saudi Arabia and their breeding to Mexico. This is not a wise strategy followed by a country that wants to remain a superpower, or simply continue to exist. A person with such a radical background should never have been close to nomination. The only reason why Obama got so far is because the media deliberately downplayed much of the most troubling information about him. The mass hysteria whipped up in favor of Obama in the press is disturbing. A person who had been a member of an openly anti-black or anti-Asian congregation for a couple of decades would never have been seriously considered for presidency, but being a member of an anti-white congregation is apparently OK. This tells us much about the cultural climate in the West at the moment. The term "Fascist" is so misused that people no longer remember its original meaning. A "Fascist" is now any person to the right of Hillary Clinton, especially if he's white and doesn't like Multiculturalism. However, the personality cult surrounding Obama is a traditional hallmark of Fascist and Communist societies. When an average voter dared to ask a few critical questions about Obama's Socialist sympathies, he was virtually ambushed by members of the mainstream media. This is the kind of behavior one expects to see in authoritarian societies when someone questions the Divine Wisdom of the Great Leader...." http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/3613

- Because it's just an opinion from someone in Europe who can't vote in our election?
- to quote every republican on this site WHY SHOULD WE CARE WHAT THE REST OF THE WORLD THINKS
- Attention! Please bring all your smears and lies to the front of the store. The election will be closing in 24 hours.
- Do you really want to have European news as your source -- we all know who would benefit and get more endorsements
- The United States media has failed every American. If Obama wins we will be The laughing joke of every nation..
- rubbish. europeans don't count!
- Hey, we took Rove and Cheneys advice and elected Bush twice...let's just take it a step further and elect this dope to put the icing on the cake. God bless America, vote McCain!
- Unfortunately not many of the O supporters will not listen to reason..In my opinion there is not rhyme nor reason as to why the man has been put on a Pedestal. If he gets in people will get CHANGE alright!
- Polls in most European nations and other nations around the world have shown overwhelmingly that the rest of the world supports Obama, so one news article doesn't mean a thing. Just anecdotal evidence.
- Why, again, would the American media report on an opinion piece from Europe? That's right. There is no reason.
- Well, it just goes to show ya how disconnected the current regime, and you by the way, are from the mainstream thought- don't worry your trust fund will not be nationalized as you may believe. Your daddy will still have his job and those checks will be coming in as regular as your young digestive tract is. I protested against the war in Vietnam, turns out that that was a pretty clear indicator of what the government should have been following all along. Meanwhile we left 50,000 dead there for little more reason than we are in Iraq now. The 6 trillion dollars that Bush borrowed from oil cartels and the communist Chinese will do little to prop up your future retirement as the Republicans have no intention of paying it down or balancing anything but their checkbooks while they are repositioning themselves financially on the global markets. So I'd have to say that your short term view of this country is just that-short term! a little radical change is much needed in our self serving and short sighted culture, thank you very much-unfortunately it may be too late and not enough and I speak for the working classes who have been golden parachuted out of their future by shear greed and a virtually demonic necessity to vote the wrong way in the hopes that their jobs will not be shipped overseas. If you want to understand the true level of dementia that has become fashionable look below. Jesus, how can even the most Right Wing nut sack believe that an opposing view is the same as a Hitler or a Stalin? Get a grip!
- This has been the scariest mass brain washing in this country that honestly I never thought I would see in my life time. The lack of education has truly been highlighted with a neon sign in this election. A great man once said, "Those that forget history are doomed to repeat it." If anyone who thinks that Obama's ideas are something new and/or revolutionary, have never been taught properly about Hitler, Stalin, Marx, Pol Pot, Castro, Mussolini, etc. None of these "great leaders" did anything good for the people that voted them into office. Its very sad to see the ignorance that has over run my country.
- funny how the truth hurts liberals.
- Well I suspect the american media didn't want to be call racist and have the naacp sueing them and pulling the plug. It seems the white people here are scared to say anything for fear of looking racist. Well black comedians make white jokes all day long. I heard a white guy one time make a black joke and got booed. The bottom line about obama is just what he says. He will change america.he supports abortions, partial abortions, and supports killing the babies that come out alive after a failed abortion attemp by leaving them alone to die or breaking their necks. Sicko. He opposes the private handgun ownership law(2nd admendment). And I can go on and on. When its time to bury your guns its time to dig them up. We will be to blame for everything.50 million babies have died since abortion became legal. Mc cain is against abortion. But hey having the first black president is the most important issue here guys
- The Obamadroids on here are soooo obliging. Notice how they prove your point for you, without even having to say anything beyond posting the article? A shame about the mind control, though. It must be something that's been put in our water supply; apparently some of us are immune to it and can still think clearly.
- Umm, first off the charge that "personality cult....is a traditional hallmark of Fascist and Communist societies" is ridiculously pointless. A cult of personality is a trademark of any society with a strong, domineering leader; you see a "cult of personality" around Roosevelt, Churchill, Kennedy and Reagan among others. Frankly, I don't care if this is a european academic journal. I'm not a supporter of Obama or McCain (I think both are idiots) but this thing smacks of idiocy and an amateur approach to politics and history. Even among European opinions (already of secondary or tertiary importance at best) this is an unimportant, boring claim. Why should the media have to report on every idiotic, badly put together piece of propaganda that comes out of the US, let alone europe? Not only are the ideas in the journal stupid, they are repetitive; we've seen these sorts of arguments from americans ceaselessly. Why exactly do we care about europeans saying the same? In the first paragraph, the author strings together two concepts that bare little connection: Obama's time in the Trinity United Church is mentioned in the same breath as outsourcing jobs to mexico and the saudi influence in government, even though there's no link presented between them. The message is discordant and confused: worried about outsourcing jobs? Why the hell would you vote for McCain? If they are so paranoid about the saudis, maybe they should worry more about John McCain (who has the same friendliness that the bush family does) than Barack Obama. Sorry, but even if he was raised as a muslim in indonesia, that doesn't mean he's automatically a supporter of Saudi Arabian terrorists (BTW obama was enrolled in an interfaith school with christians, it's kind of hard to believe that a radical school funded by wahabbis would tolerate christian students). A major hallmark of fascism is defining the state by one's enemies. We saw this in Nazi Germany, where the jews, gypsies, and other minorities were seen as deviants and dangerous to the purity of the aryan state. We see this in the worst of radical islam, where any non-islamic ideology existing anywhere is a violent encroachment. And we see this in the McCain campaign, where the attention is centered not around the positives of the republican candidate but the negatives of his opponent. Do I think this point is actually worthy of attention? No, it's a cockamamie argument: you share one strategy with these bad people, therefore you are the same as them. Only an idiot gets swayed by hearsay like this. But I agree that Obama's supporters are ridiculous and idiotic in their attempts to defend him.
